She voted in favor of SCA 10, a "reproductive freedom" bill, which allows CA voters to vote for "constitutional right to reproductive freedom" in November 2022. If passed, the proposition will amend the Constitution of California to explicitly grant the right to an abortion and contraceptives.

Her statement: "While I am personally pro-life with exceptions, I believe that voters should have a choice in deciding this issue in November."

Joe Biden won her district by 8 points. Gavin Newsom won her district by 0.6 points in 2018 (old district).
